Fun Fact: I have lived in five metropolitan cities: New York, Austin, Dallas, Madrid and Chicag0.
I am a 33 year old, hetero woman, born in Los Angeles, raised in Dallas, and have lived in five large metropolitan cities throughout my teens, 20’s and early 30’s (NYC, Austin, Dallas, Madrid, Chicago). I lead my life with adventure and spontaneity, but also crave consistency and stability. I became a therapist to be the therapist I wish I had through a lifetime of navigating anxiety, depression, and ADHD. I’m incredibly close with my family, value being a really great friend, and partner, and have a mini aussie, Winnie, that I’m grossly codependent with. On the weekends, I am prioritizing rest and adventure/play doing things like: trying a new recipe, learning to paint, binge watching a new show, TikToking, taking a virtual dance class in my living room, a long walk with my bestie (Winnie, of course), long intellectual talks with my partner, planning my next adventure with friends, or hanging with my parents. I am always a work in progress. I’m a therapist who is also in therapy. I love being ‘in the work’ with others. Hence, why I love being a therapist. One day, I want to do stand-up comedy, but that would require me to not care about public failure. * single tear *

Treatment Modalities and Training
As I said, I’m always learning so this changes over time, and depends on what each client needs at any given moment. That said, treatment modalities that I find myself using most often are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I’m currently learning more about Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR and Gottman’s Couples Therapy.
